Sales Engineer

So you used to be a programmer but you went over to the dark side.  Or maybe you are a developer or technical consultant who can look people in the eye and carry on a conversation.  Sales Engineering at Digitiliti is the place for you. Send us a link to your LinkedIn profile through the contact page.

You:
You’re tired of being burned by demos that don’t work, power point presentations that are old and moldy and doing all the work for your sales rep who keeps all the credit (and pay). You know that you’re the one who is actually doing all the work and who understands how the technology actually works. Despite all this you have an inner drive for excellence that keeps you up late putting together that killer demo, answering the hard technical questions on yet another RFP and crafting an amazing deck that your sales rep will probably botch up (again).  You’d just like a little more appreciation for all that you do.

Us:
We have amazing technology that delivers on its promises.  We have deeply technical and highly creative people and we are looking for talented additions to our team.  Our customers understand IT, information management technology and keep abreast of industry trends.  We are looking for sales engineers who can cut through the buzz-words and give impact to the biggest trends in IT.  Yeah, we’re “SaaS” and “Cloud”.  We’re “mobile” and “proactive”.  We play in the world of “big data” “collaboration” and “active archives”.  We deliver insight and information from gigabytes to terabytes and petabytes.  That means scale.  That means architecture.  That means you. We want you to help us explain that to technical audiences.

  • Support sales reps with technical backing.
  • Drive new sales opportunities by spotting needs and working together with sales reps to bring them to a close.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and information management ecosystem by reading, researching and keeping a keen ear to the ground.
